Description

the slightly spreading cylindrical body with scalloped rim, cast with six rectangular panels enclosing lengthy calligraphic inscriptions and dated to 1691, all below a chevron and a pierced lotus lappet band and surmounted by a dragon crown

Condition

The bell is in good condition with very crisp casting and nice patina overall. Some of the areas between the petalled lower section with a serrated finish.
