Description

the globular body rising from three tall acanthus leaf-shaped legs to a short waisted neck and everted rim, cast in high relief around the exterior with leafy floral strapwork, the shoulder with a ruyi band and divided by a large pair of dragon-headed handles, the pierced domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a vase-shaped finial 

Condition

This censer is in good condition, but has some rubbing to the surface at the base of the cover and the underside of the feet. There is a small dent to upper side of one of the handles.
