Description

of rounded globular form rising to a long and slender neck with lipped rim, painted with three qilin, each crouching and two with their heads turned to the side, their scales detailed and their eyes picked out in blue

Condition

The vase is in very good overall condition with the exception of a slight lean to the neck, a hairline firing glaze line around the luting line at the shoulder, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized glaze holes and light glaze scratches.
