Description
the circular body with straight sides rising from three short tab feet, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with a continuous scene of Budai with small boys at play amidst rocks and swirling mist, all below a narrow chevron band at the rim

Condition
The censer is in good overall condition with the exception of some fritting and polishing to the bottom edge of the sides, fritting to the feet and some tiny frits and rubbing to the glaze at the rim, fritting to the lower edge of the rolled rim on the interior, some minor firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
