each with gently curved sides rising from a tapering foot to an everted rim, finely decorated in underglaze-blue, iron-red and green enamel to the interior with a medallion enclosing five large Indian lotus heads borne on leafy scrolling stems, the exterior similarly decorated

Condition

Both bodies have slightly warped in firing and have light glaze scratches. The one dish has a 4 x 4mm. triangular section of underglaze-blue contrary to the design to the inside edge of the rim. Otherwise both dishes are in good overall condition.
