Description
the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a flaring rim, finely and brightly enamelled around the exterior with a leafy composite floral scroll reserved on a rich yellow ground, the interior painted in iron-red with the wu fu

Condition
The bowl is in very good overall condition with the exception of a 7mm., long hairline rim crack, six tiny yellow enamel pulls (largest 2mm. diam.) below the rim, minor glaze firing imperfections to the interior including pinhead-sized burst glaze bubbles, iron-spot imperfections, and very minor glaze scratches. It should be noted that the enamels are of a slightly stronger tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
