Description

the gently curved sides rising from a short tapering foot to a slightly everted rim, finely incised to the interior with a medallion enclosing two ferocious scaly five-clawed dragons in mutual pursuit of a flaming pearl, the exterior with four cranes in flight amidst stylised clouds, all within aubergine bands and reserved on a white ground

Condition

This finely incised dish is in very good condition with the exception of some tiny iron-spot firing imperfections and burst glaze bubbles predominantly around the well.
