Description

the body of flattened pear shape, rising from a short spreading foot to a tall ribbed neck flanked by a pair of tubular handles, covered overall with a soft even sea-green glaze

Condition

The vase has a tiny glaze frit to one handle; a tiny glaze pull to the rim; a 5mm., triangular-shaped flake to the bottom of the foot; minor nibbles to the bottom of the foot and light glaze scratches; otherwise the vessel is in very good condition with a particularly attractive bluish-celadon glaze.
