Description
of archaic zun form, the central globular section moulded in high relief with four vertical flanges and rising from a tall spreading foot carved with pendant leaves, all surmounted by a tall trumpet neck similarly carved with a stiff leaf band, covered overall in a rich turquoise glaze

Formerly in the Carraro Rizzoli collection.
Condition
The gu is in good overall condition with the exception of a restored 5cm., wide crescent-shaped break to the edge of the foot , minor glaze firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
