Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, covered overall in a rich dark aubergine glaze, the base incised with the six-character mark within a double ring

Provenance

Collection of Carraro Rizzoli

Condition

The bowl is in very good condition with the eexception of two 6mm., wide restored flakes to the underside of the rim, two glaze flakes to the inside edge of the footring and glaze scratches. It should be noted that the glaze is of a slightly glossier and of a richer aubergine tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
