Guru Rinopoche seated cross-legged on a lotus pedestal base, wearing a heavy robe, boots and an elaborate necklace, holding a vajra in his right hand and a tsebum, vase of immortality in his left, his face with meditative expression and framed by his characteristic turned up cap with incised floral decoration and a sun and moon emblem at its crown, 28.5cm., 11 1/4 in; together with a seated bronze Kashmir-style figure
Condition
This bronze is generally good condition but does have an area of repair below the right foot. There is a 1cm long area of minor damage to the front right side of the base. There are areas of green encrustations on the face, neck and other parts of the body and base and the top of the hat is missnig.
