Description

finely cast seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, his right hand in bhumisparshamudra and his left in dhyanamudra, wearing a simple monks habit incised with a geometric band, his face with meditative expression framed by long pendulous earlobes and his hair curled high in tight knots around the usnisa, the reverse with an eleven-line calligraphic inscription

Condition

This bronze figure is generally in good condition but does have rubbing to the gilding to the face, arms, hands, knees and minor rubbing to the back. There is more significant rubbing to the gilding to the back of the base.
