Description

the rectangular shape, finely carved in high relief to the front face with three scholars examining a scroll, all standing in a fenced garden amidst rocks and over-hanging branches of pine, the opaque stone of milk-white tone

Condition

This plaque is in excellent condition apart from a 1cm scratch to the rear, a 0.3cm nibble to the rear lower right corner, three natural veins to the left hand rim (between 0.3 and 1 cm) and a tiny bruise to the rear left rim.
