Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot and set to one side with a broad spout and to the other with a strap handle issuing from a monster mask, finely carved around the exterior with three large taotie masks reserved on a leiwen ground, the stone of pale celadon tone

Condition

The yi is in very good condition with the exception of a tiny nick to the bottom edge of the handle and some natural opaque whitsh-cream inclusions.
