Description
the flattened baluster body rising from a short spreading foot to a waisted neck flanked by a pair of ruyi handles suspending loose rings and divided by notched vertical flanges, carved in medium relief to the front and back face with a large pair of confronted phoenix forming a taotie mask, the domed cover surmounted by a lotus finial, the stone of mottled emerald green and lavender tone, wood stand
Condition
Examined with wood stand attached: The vase and cover (attached by glue) are both in very good condition with the exception of a circa 3 x 5mm., flaw to the stone to the side of the shoulder beneath the ring handle.
