Description
the body of elegant flattened baluster form rising from a short spreading foot to a tall waisted neck set with a pair of pierced dragon handles, carved to the front and back face with a large taotie mask below pendent stiff leaves encircling the neck, the stone of pale celadon tone with mottled russet inclusions
Condition
The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of natural flaws and inclusions. It should be noted that the stone is of a slightly darker celadon tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
