Description

finely carved, the recumbent bird with head turned sharpley over its back and clutching a long flowering stem in its beak, the stone of pale celadon tone with small areas of russet skin

Condition

The carving is in very good condition with the exception of a small chip (3x1mm.) to the tip of the tail, and a nibble to the edge of the leaf at the front.
