Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, finely painted around the exterior with a crested pheasant perched on blossoming peony issuing from rockwork, the interior a peony spray encircled by a composite floral spray band

Condition

Generally good condition. There are two areas to the interior base 1.5cm and 0.5cm diameter where the glaze has not taken to the body. Some other areas of of iron spots and small glaze stones and pin holes (glaze inconsistencies) to the interior and exterior.
