Description
the body painted with alternating panels of ducks in a river and lotus scroll, the cover with ogival panels of flowers below a band of ruyi, the interior painted with a bird on bamboo below panels of flowers

Condition
The bowl and cover are in good overall condition with the exception of some nibbles to the flange of the cover, some kiln grit adhered to the footring, some short glaze hairlines around the interior and exterior of the body, and light glaze scratches. It should be noted that the cobalt-blue is of a slightly more vivid blue tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
