Description
the centre of the interior painted in deep blue with four cranes amongst cloud scrolls, below six floral roundels, the exterior with similar roundels
Condition
The dish is in good condition with the exception of minor fritting to the rim, some grit inclusions to the interior and some minor glaze-pulls to the interior and around the top of the footring, glaze scratches, and a slightly smokey area to the glaze of approximately a quarter of the well. It should be noted that the cobalt-blue is of a strongertone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
