Description

the finely-potted body of lotus form rising from a short tapering foot, painted around the exterior with a broad lotus scroll band, all below an apocryphal six-character Xuande reign mark and classic scroll band

Condition

This water pot has an area of damage to the rim from where a 1.2 cm horizontal crack runs around the rim and the vertical related cracks run (4 cm long). There is also a 3 mm vertical hairline crack from the other side of the rim.
