Description

of conical form, deeply and finely carved with Xuanzang and his three disciples, the irreverent and capable Monkey, greedy Pig and Friar Sand on their 'Journey to the West',  all amidst jagged rocks, old gnarled pine trees and swirling mist

Condition

The carving is in very good condition with the exception of short and light hairline age cracks to the rocks at the back, and the loss to the tip of one finger on the right hand of Xuanzang.
