Description

each carved standing on a pierced rockwork pedestal base, wearing a long-sleeved robe, the one holding a large string of beads and a lingzhi in his right hand and supporting a recumbent qilin around his shoulders, the other holding a long yak-tail fly-whisk in his right hand and a bowl in the left supporting a Buddha seated beneath a pagoda, the ivory patinated to a warm honey tone

Condition

Both carvings are in good overall condition with the exception of some age cracks around the scull, some age cracks to the interior, and the rockwork base slightly sprung.
