Description
of characteristic cylindrical form, the body finely carved in high relief with a pair of cranes wading in a shallow stream, one pecking at sprigs of lingzhi fungus, and the other standing tall on one leg, in a lush grove filled with gnarled pine trees heavily laden with clusters of needles, with bamboo sprigs springing from craggy rockwork, the stone of a mottled apple-green tone suffused with russet-brown inclusions cleverly utilised to enhance the details of the rockwork and trees
