well carved in the round, the horned beast standing with his head turned downwards, tied to the nostrils with a long rope and with a small boy playfully clambering on the haunches while grasping the end of the rope, the second boy sitting on the buffalo's back holding a sprig of lingzhi fungus, the stone of a pure, even white tone
Condition
There are small nibbles around the hooves and feet, some of which have been polished down slightly. Otherwise the present piece is in good condition overall. There are natural fissures/veining to the reverse.
