No other Yongzheng wine cup of this design and form appears to have been published, decorated in iron-red or underglaze-blue.
The design of lança characters follows the Chenghua blue and white prototype very closely. Compare a pair of blue and white cups of the same size with a six-character Chenghua mark within a double-square, in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, illustrated in Catalogue of the Special Exhibition of Chenghua porcelain ware, Taipei, 1992, pls. 73 and 74. See also a related pair of Yongzheng blue and white lança cups of different form, sold in these rooms, 3rd May 1994, lot 167; and again, 10th April 2006, lot 1687.
