Description
crisply cast, the deity standing in pratyalidhasana, the warrior pose, his three heads each wearing a wrathful expression below a 'third eye' on the forehead framed by a crown of skulls, his hair standing straight-up with traces of red pigment, above three pairs of arms extended, one hand holding a vajra and another holding a double vajra, the other hands in apanamudra, his bare chest covered with garlands of skulls and jewelled necklaces, his waist tied with a tiger-skin loin cloth, all supported on a rectangular waisted lotus pedestal
Condition
The present lot is in good condition. There are remnants of lacquer on the face and hair. To the reverse, there is a small area which has been recast after consecration.
