Description
each delicately potted with sides of the exterior finely painted with the bajixiang ('Eight Buddhist Emblems') divided into four pairs, each pair tied together with a flowing brocade ribbon, set between an iron-red key fret border at the rim and linked ruyi heads around the foot, inscribed on the base with the six-character seal-mark in underglaze-blue

Formerly in a Japanese Collection.
Condition
The pair is in very good condition, and are very well matched. There is a slight crackle to the yellow enamel at the foot.
