Description
the low rounded sides springing from a short foot, well painted overall in vivid tones of underglaze-blue against a glossy and rich yellow ground, the interior with two ferocious five-clawed dragons floating amid swirling flames in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', the underside with eight beribboned bajixiang emblems, the base left undecorated and inscribed with the six-character mark within a double-circle

Condition
There are two short hairline cracks extending down from the rim, the longer approx 2.5cm, and surface scratches to the interior. Otherwise the dish is overall in good condition. There is a characteristic crackle to the yellow glaze.
