Description
the voluptuous lower bulb rising to a cinched waist and a smaller globular bulb, sweeping up to a short narrow tubular neck, covered overall with an even caesious coloured glaze, inscribed on the base in underglaze-blue with a six-character reign mark

Formerly in a Japanese Collection.
Condition
The vase is in very good condition overall, with only minor wear and surface scratches to the base. There is some old sellotape on the reverse, which could be cleaned off. The glaze is richer and slightly more sea-green than the catalogue illustration.
