of rectangular shape, supported by a rectangular plinth with pierced shaped panels raised on a slightly everted apron joined by four scroll feet, the top inlaid with a female dancer entertaining two gentlemen and a lady seated at a table on a balcony, while two scholars and their attendants in the garden gaze up at the birds in the air, enclosed within a floral diaper border, the apron inlaid with lions playing with a brocade ball on two sides and  phoenix and clouds on the other two sides

There are minor losses to the mother of pearl and natural crackles to the lacquer surface. Although the cracks have been consolidated and the surface appears to be original and not to have been relacquered. Overall condition is quite good.
