Description

with low rounded sides resting on a slightly tapered foot, well painted overall in glossy and bright tones of yellow enamel against a rich cobalt-blue ground, the centre with a ferocious five-clawed dragon writhing amid flames and cloud swirls in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', decorated around the well with two further sinuous dragons chasing 'flaming pearls', the exterior similarly decorated with a pair of dragons above a lotus lappet border, the base glazed white and inscribed with the six-character mark within a double-circle

Condition

There are some very minor chips and fritting to the foot and some very light scratches to the surface of the dish. The overall condition of this lot is very good.
