Description

sturdily potted with steep gently flaring sides rising from an angle above a short straight foot, moulded around the lower body with two raised bowstrings, the exterior covered in a deep inky-blue glaze thinning at the rim and bowstrings, the interior and base glazed white, with the six-character mark inscribed on the interior within a double-circle

Condition

The bowl is in good condition. There are small firing flaws to the foot, and a few scattered stained pinpricks to the rim. The colour is glossier, richer and more inky-blue than illustrated.
