Description
sturdily potted with steep gently flaring sides rising from an angle above a short straight foot, moulded around the lower body with two raised bowstrings, the exterior covered in a deep inky-blue glaze thinning at the rim and bowstrings, the interior and base glazed white, with the six-character mark inscribed on the interior within a double-circle
Condition
The bowl is in good condition. There is a tiny kiln chip to the foot of approx 0.5 by 0.2cm. There are a couple stained pinpricks, and three stained pinpricks to the interior within the double-circle. There are occasional surface scratches. The colour is richer and more inky-blue than illustrated. The glaze is slightly deeper than lot 2909.
