Publisher's green vertically-ribbed cloth, front cover with three emblematic pictorial panels in red, black, and white, title and author gilt-lettered between the panels, spine lettered in gilt with pictorial panel of Buck, pictorial endpapers, top edge gilt; faintest rubbing to extremities. Publisher's gray dust jacket printed in green with cover design; a few very short nicks, spine slightly abraded. Half green morocco slipcase, chemise.
