Shelley, 11 handcolored aquatint plates (9 with overslips, 1 folding), 10 uncolored plates (4 with overslips, 1 folding), 6 engraved maps and plans (1 handcolored), 10 engraved vignettes (2 with overslips), 20 text illustrations (1 handcolored); frontispiece and title loose, some light marginal foxing, offsetting from plates to text, small circular MHS stamp in lower corner of each plate without affecting image. Contemporary dark-green straight-grain morocco, gilt roll-tooled frames in three different patterns, spine gilt, edges gilt, pink endpapers; corners torn, edges and joints rubbed, a few scratches.
