Wit, Frederick de. Novissima et Accuratissima Septentrionalis ac Meridionalis Americae descriptio multis locis recentibus aucta. Amsterdam, [after 1688]. Double-page engraved map (21 1/2 x 25 1/4 in.; 546 x 641 mm), contemporary handcoloring in outline, no text on verso, matted; one-inch tear at fold in Gulf of Mexico, creased at center, dampstains and two wormholes in margins, a few spots. Tooley, Mapping of America 33.



Blaeu, Willem & Jan. Virginia partis australis, et Floridae partis orientalis, interjacentiumque regionum Nova Descriptio. [Amsterdam, 1640]. Double-page engraved map (18 1/8 x 22 3/4 in.; 460 x 577 mm, measuring the original sheet) after Joannes Janssonius; margins extended repair to wormhole in upper blank margin. Second state, without imprint, longitudinal sequence "298, 299, 200," no text on verso, cherub on left with tail. Burden 253.



Blaeu, Willem. Nova Belgica et Anglia Nova. [Amsterdam, 1635 or later]. Double-page engraved map (18 1/8 x 22 1/2 in.; 460 x 572 mm), contemporary handcoloring, French text on verso; tape residue in outer margins.  "It is one of the earliest to name Nieu Amsterdam" (Burden 241).

Janssonius, Joannes. Nova Anglia Novum Belgium et Virginia. Amsterdam: Janssonius, [1636-1639].  Double-page engraved map (17 7/8 x 22 1/4 in.; 454 x 565 mm), partially colored in a contemporary hand, French text on verso quire mark "ddddd"; tape residue in upper margin, signs of erasure in cartouche. First state. Burden 247.
