- the table 71cm. high by 211cm. wide by 100 cm. wide (130cm. extended); the sideboard 120cm. high by 171cm. wide by 50cm. deep;
- 2ft 4in., 6ft 11in., 3ft 3½in. (4ft 3¼); 3ft 11¼in., 5ft 7½in., 1ft 7¾in.
limed oak and gilt wrought iron, comprising an extending dining table, two armchairs, six side chairs and a sideboard, the table with two hinged leaves, the sideboard doors enclosing two drawers and a shelf
Condition
A decorative suite of good overall appearance. Minor old marks, stains and scratches consistent with age and use. Table: very minor crackng to the veneer to top, consistent with age and not detrimental. Typical marks to top. With very unusual intergal hinged side flaps which give the top additional width when needed. One scroll support cracked, consistent with age. Of good structural condition. Chairs: seats have been recovered. Joints a little loose. Some cracking to mouldings, again consistent with age. Sideboard of good structural condition. Piece comes in two for moving. Overall, a practical suite of good quality.
