cold-painted and silvered bronze and ivory, modelled as a young woman standing on one leg, holding aloft a brightly coloured parrot, raised on stepped circular bronze and green marble base

Condition

A stylish example. Some minor marks and scratches overall. Her right hand re-glued and with restorations of a good standard. Some wear to patina and to the painting of the hair. No cracks to her face. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the U.S.A. Your attention is drawn to the endangered species section of the Guide for Prospective buyers at the back of the printed catalogue (section 4).
