walnut veneer, the shaped gallery surrounding a marble top, above six drawers fronted by fluted panels, the squared tapering legs ending in bronze sabots
Condition
An elegant chest of good overall condition. Piece has been repolished. Minor marks and scratches. Some minor areas of restoration to the veneer edges. Reverse has a later hardboard inset panel, not visible when piece is displayed against the wall. Handles and sabots with minor blemishing and tarnishing, consistent with age and material. A decorative piece, ready for use and display.
