Catalogue Note

The pieces created by Peder Moos are perhaps the rarest and most sought-after of all Danish 20th Century furniture. A perfectionist, his work was made entirely by himself and was very expensive to buy. His clients are said to have had no input into the cost, time of completion, colour, shape or design of the piece they commissioned, but their belief in his skill as a designer and cabinetmaker underlines why the small number of unique and exquisitely hand-produced pieces he created are so sought after today.
