Condition
A well modelled example of slightly richer tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. There is a firing flaw to the interior rim of the cover - this is approx. 2cm long by .05cm deep. There is an area of overpainting to the interior rim of the bird. This ia at the back of the bird and is not visible when the cover is in place. There is no overpainting to the exterior in this area. Some minor nicks to the glaze. Ready for display.
