Description

  • a pair of oak cherubs
the pendant figures each with one arm raised, their scant drapery flowing over one arm and falling over the opposing thigh

Condition

This pair of cherubs are fit to hang on a wall. They exhibit some worming and chips, cracks and some repairs. The arms of both angels were carved separately and attached. The fingers on the left arm of one angel have been repaired and four fingers are missing on the left arm of the other angel as well as five of his toes. These losses do not detract from the overall appearance of the pair.
