Condition
Original canvas. There are a few scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, corresponding to areas of paint loss notably to the lower left edge and to an area near the hookah. Apart from a few scattered spots of paint loss, notably to the blanket of the figure, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, brushed gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
