Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably near the hand of the figure on the left, and to the upper right quadrant of the composition. Apart from some light scattered surface dirt, this work is in very good condition, with rich tones and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, solid wood frame with gold-painted moulded plaster accents.
