Condition
The complete canvas is rectangular (102 by 84cm.), and unlined. There are a few scattered minor flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the bridge of the figure's nose. Apart from a few scattered spots of very fine craquelure, this work is in very good condition, with rich colours and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, black-painted moulded plaster frame with an ovular opening and gold accent.
