Condition
Original canvas. There are a few scattered small spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the lower left corner and to two minor repairs to the centre (patched on the reverse). Apart from some very fine scattered craquelure and a stretcher imprint to the upper right, this work is in good condition and ready to hang. Held in a highly decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
