Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are areas of discoloured varnish visible under ultraviolet light. There are areas of fine craquelure some minor frame rubbing to the right of the upper edge and the lower right edge. This work would benefit greatly from a professional cleaning, but retains its fine detail and is in a condition befitting its age. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a nameplate.
