Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to an area to the upper right and to the far right, along the horizon. Apart from a slightly discoloured varnish, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, grey and gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
