Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to an area above the figure's right shoulder, to the left above the bottom of her robe, and along the left edge. Apart from scattered fine craquelure, this work is in good condition with a strong surface and vibrant colour. Held in a decorative, incised, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
